Just to let people know that I’ve decided to pull out of the next stage in the BooksOffice process, so unfortunately ‘Cremains’ probably won’t be on the TV any time soon. I’m afraid I can’t go into the reasons why I came to this decision, but I’m particularly sorry to everyone who supported me by taking the trouble to vote.
However, if you happen to know any film or TV producers…

Aw. Now I can’t say I know a famous TV writer. (Unfortunately, I don’t know any TV producers or commissioning editors either….) I would imagine your decision to exit the process is to do with the huge outlay of stress and disproportionate effort, but what do I know?

Hey, great to hear from you, and I am of course mortified that you can’t now claim to know a famous TV writer. On the other hand, “famous TV writer” is a bit of an oxymoron as most people have no idea who wrote even their favourite TV series, so I doubt you’d gain a lot of kudos.
On the plus side, it remains highly unlikely I’ll be invited to take part in “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” or “Strictly”, which is a great relief.
Anyway, Mr Wecanreadit, hope all’s well with you. Maybe we can exchange emails at some point. Something I’ve been meaning to do for quite some fortnights, but you know how it goes.
